A Florida man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for raping a young woman he met on dating apps.

Tiffany St. Clair, 29, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of sexual battery and received a five-year sentence, which will run concurrently with the 15-year prison term she faced for the attack in April 2016.

She had admitted to police that she had met St. Claire on dating app Tinder in January 2016 and he lured her to a motel room where he assaulted her.

St. Clair was arrested in August after the victim reported the assault to authorities.

She was also arrested after investigators said they found a condom in her purse.

After she was sentenced, St. Cirles defense attorney said the sentence was harsh.

“She was a vulnerable, young woman, and he was able to exploit her,” said attorney Scott Eichler.

“I will say it was shocking, and it was a shock for the victim and the family, but she will get her day in court.”

St. Cirle was arrested just hours after the rape.

He was in jail after a judge sentenced him to probation for a second time.

He had already served time for sexual battery in a previous case and was convicted of second-degree kidnapping.

St Clair pleaded guilty in October and was given credit for the 10 years he already served for the previous charge.

He will be sentenced on May 29.

Stray from the law, a man who raped a woman who met him on dating website Tinder will be eligible for a 20-year term in prison.
